Lil Wayne born September 27, 1982 in New Orleans, Louisiana. At the age of 8, Dwayne started rapping. A few years later he met brothers Bryan and Slim Williams, the founders of Cash Money Records, they were impressed with his skills and gave him a business cards. Ambitious, Wayne kept calling them until they took him under their wings and let him hang around the label's offices. Birdman mentored him and taught him the in’s and outs of the industry that one day he would dominate not only rocketing himself into fame but his ever expanding crew YMCMB. He was educated by private tutors and allowed to develop his once unique style of not writing lyrics down but free thinking them and then putting them together without having to write anything down lil Wayne has been quoted saying if there not written down there’s no evidence. He’s created 100’s f hip hop songs this way, reportedly recording every day. Lil Wayne has caused a lot of controversy in his career with gun and drug charges, prison sentences and his addiction to codeine (syrup). Lil Wayne has sipped lean for a fair while with some of his top hip hop albums being recorded whilst under the influence of the opiate. Regardless of his criminal offences or his substance misuse there is no denying that he has produced 100’s of hip hop songs that are loved by millions. He is noted to seem to live on his tour bus traveling around performing, partying and even recording in the move. He carries a microphone, laptop and recording equipment with him where ever he goes. On March the 27^th 2013 lil Wayne and friends will be rocking out Amsterdam’s premier arena the Ziggo Dome. Ziggo Dome is a 17,000-seat multi-use indoor arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The dome was opened on June 24, 2012 .The American rock band Pearl Jam was the first foreign artist to play in the Ziggo Dome: they played two shows in June 2012 as part of their European tour. Wayne will be accompanied by none other than Tity Boi (2 Chainz) who has rose to the top this year with 100’s of hip hop songs and massive mix tape hype. Also his top hip hop album (Based on a TRU story). Also Mac Miller will be there who also has had a good year dropping an album and getting a lot of attention from the hip hop world. The tour is to promote the release of another top hip hop album by Wayne (I am not a human being 2) .The album release was pushed back from December 2012 to February 19^th 2013. The Album reportedly features from 2 Chainz, Future, Drake and Big Sean to name a few with guest production from none other than the trippy king himself Juicy j. No doubt it promises to be another top hip hop album from Weezy F. The original Human Being dropped in 2010 while Tunechi was locked down on Rikers Island in New York for his 2007 gun charge. That album hit #1 on the Billboard 200 and with Wayne a free man, this second instalment should conceivably be even bigger considering he can actively promote it. Wayne even said he wasn’t entirely happy with (I Am Not A Human Being 1) saying “"The difference between this album and the last I Am Not a Human Being would be the music wasn't rushed," Wayne told MTV News on June 16 in Atlanta after he finished performing at Hot 107.9's Birthday Bash. "Last time the music was rushed because I had to take that eight-month vacation on that island so we had rushed the music, but this time we didn't rush the music. With more personal influence from Wayne and the fact he has been able to take his time should help this become one of the top hip hop albums 2013. It looks good and the European tour looks even better. I’ve booked my tickets for the 27^th in Amsterdam, what better place to celebrate a hip hop legends album release than the Kush Heaven that is Amsterdam. Tickets are still available but they are selling fast. If you can’t make the 27^th but still want to catch Wayne while he’s in Europe then he’s also touring at the following venues so get a piece of the action.

The East Coast of America ,New York in particular is where hip hop was born during the 1970s when block party's became increasingly popular in New York City, particularly among theyouth living in the Bronx Block parties incorporated DJs who played mainly funk and soul Music. Due to the positive reception, DJs began isolating the percussive breaks of popular songs and over time it's moulded into the music we love today.

We've compiled what we think are the 10 top hip hop albums that have emerged, and shaped hip hop in New York (the Mecca of hip hop ). Here's a list of over 100 hip hop songs that helped define an era and movement. HIP HOP!

Nas - Illmatic

Illmatic is the debut album of Queens artist Nas, released April 19, 1994, on Columbia Records. Following his signing to the label with the help of MC Serch, the album was recorded during 1992 to 1993 at Chung King Studios, D&D Recording, Battery Studios, andUnique Recording Studios in New York City. Its production was handled by Nas, Large Professor, Pete Rock, Q-Tip, L.E.S., and DJ Premier. Stylistically a hardcore hip hop album,Illmatic features Nas' multi-syllabic internal rhyme style he was jus explaining what it was like in Queensbridge, New York. When it was released, the album debuted at number 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling 59,000 copies in its first week. However, its initial sales fell below expectations and its five singles failed to achieve significant chart success. While it experienced initial low sales,Illmatic received positive reviews from most music critics upon its release and earned praise for its lyrical content, production, and Nas' lyricism. On January 17, 1996, the album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, and in 2001, it earned platinum certification after shipments of one million copies in the United States.   50 cent - Get rich or die tryin   Get Rich or Die Tryin' is 50 cent's debut album, released February 6, 2003, on Aftermath Entertainment under a joint venture with Shady Recordsand distribution by Interscope Records. Its initially planned release was pushed seven days ahead due to heavy bootlegging and Internet leakage. The album featured production fromDr. Dre and Eminem, among others and featured guest appearances from Eminem and then-newcomers Young Buck, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo. This top hip hop album debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling 872,000 copies in its first week.^[1] It spawned four singles, including the number 1-hits "In da Club" and "21 Questions", and the international single "P.I.M.P.". This album also won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album in 1999. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, and also went to #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.  

RUN DMC - Run DMC This chart topping album was considered groundbreaking in its day this album helped create an era. A real timepiece. Wu Tang Clan- Wu tang forever this album didn't really change the game but the artists did wu-tang are one of the most successful group to come out of new York they definatley helped in creating the game we see today definatley a top hip hop album from a top group.   Public Enemy Public Enemy is a hip hop group consisting of Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Professor Griff and his S1W group, DJ Lord (DJ who replaced Terminator X in 1999), and Music Director Khari Wynn. Formed in Long Island, New York, in 1982, Public Enemy is known for their politically charged lyrics and criticism of the American media, with an active interest in the frustrations and concerns of the community. In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Public Enemy number 44 on its list of the Immortals: 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.[2] Acclaimed Music ranks them the 29th most recommended musical act of all time and the highest hip-hop group. The group was inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame in 2007.[4] The band were announced as inductees for the 2013 class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on December 11, 2012, making them the fourth hip-hop act to be inducted after Grand master Flash and the Furious Five, Run-DMC and the Beastie Boys they created countless top hip hop albums. 3 top hip hop albums for 2013

2013 promises to be a good year for the industry there seems to be alot going on. With 100's of hip hop songs that have been promised countless top hip hop albums ready to drop. I've brought some information on some of the biggest and most promising projects that have been made or being made as i type this. Also a little information on speculated albums and so called mythical albums (wont say any name's) huh DRE! Juicy J Stay Trippy According to Juicy J his solo album stay trippy is nearly finished. The respected artist and valued member of 36mafia said he hopes to have it out end of January  With juice putting out 100's of hip hop songs over the past 2 years an album was only a matter of time .It guarantees to be rocking , if we know one this juicy j knows how to make a trippy hip hop songs . He's on fire lately definatley looks like it could  be one of the top hip hop albums of 2013. Lil Wayne - Iam not a human being 2 I Am Not A Human Being II is the upcoming tenth studio album by American rapper Lil Wayne. It is expected to be released on February 19, 2013 through Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Republic Records. It is the second album of Wayne's I Am Not a Human Being series. it looks like it will have some good hip hop songs on there, its Wayne hes consistent! will it be a top hip hop album of 2013? Timbaland - Shock Value 3 Timbalands much anticipated album, its been long awaited and i can only hope it was as good as shock value 2. Great producer and not a bad MC because he does it all he really can completely express his self . Hes provided 100's of hip hop songs over the years and some top hip hop albums lets hope this albums even better.   Speculated Albums J Cole and Kendrick Lamar - Reportedly getting together to do a collab album would be something i would love to hear. both artist really came into there own this year and looking forward to seeing what they have got this year. Eminem solo project- Yes i said it !!! You just cant keep a good man down. Another one that has gave us 100's of hip hop songs and definatley a few spots in the 10 top hip hop albums of all time lets hope 2013 can be just as good for him if not better. Dre Detox- Now i'm sure i dont need to tell you that we've been waiting for dre to drop this album for centureys. Great Hip hop producers

Hip Hop just wouldn't work without the help of a hip hop producer. The quality of a track relies heavy the ability of the producer.They have helped shape the industry through the years ,each one bringing its own style and ideas to the table. there job is to create top hip hop albums but at the same time they have the power to rocket someones career into the stratosphere. Some of the greatest hip hop producers didn't just help shape there chosen music they actually started the movement e.g Dre and G-funk and DJ screw and screwed and chopped music. Between the artists Hip Hop producers they have shaped and adapted the industry for 40 years now from samplers and recording live instruments to digital music production we see today.This articles purpose is to give an incite on some of my favorite hip hop producers there top hip hop albums and a short bio. Also a small section on getting started when it comes to making beats.   Dr Dre : In my eyes the best hip hop producer that ever lived. From the start he has leaded his field, the original father of G-funk and responsible for bringing us probably the best selection of talent the industry has ever seen. hes been there from just about the start and could actually be called the father of gangster rap. He was behind the beats that made easy-e, snoop dogg, ice cube, Eminem, 50 cent, game and newest prodigy Kendrick Lamar. Dres signiture sound is timeless and he never fails to impress, his long overdue album release detox promises to be a great piece of work being his last solo album. some of his greatest is listed below: DJ Screw - Dj screw has done for the south what dre did for the west. In the south he is considered to be the best hip hop producer from the south ever! his life tragically cut short when he died of a codeine overdose in addition to mixed drug intoxication. The codeine came from a prescription-strength cough syrup that he would mix with soda to concoct a beverage called purple drank. In addition to codeine, Valium and PCP were found in his blood.^[6] His funeral took place at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in his hometown of Smithville, Texas. He is responsible for really kicking off hip hop in the south ad bringing it to the mainstream audience also kicking of the careers of rappers such as chamillionaire,UGK,Paul Wall, Mike Jones and many more. some would say the best hip hop producers/DJ to come out of the south Timbaland: Timothy Zachery Mosley (born March 10, 1972),better known by his stage nameTimbaland. He has been responsible for some great works and i chose him for this article because hes different. just like dre and screw when a timbo track comes on you can tell by the beat. He has been a hip hop producer for some of the greatest acts of the genre and his era. Helping Aliyah , Missy elliot, Jay Z, Ludacris and LL cool j. No doubting that this guy is a top hip hop producer.

Here at 100hiphopsongs.com were all obviously devote hip hop music fans. One of the topics we seem to never be able to agree on is the 10 top hip hop albums of all time?Of course ultimateltly it's a matter of opinion (mine being right hahaha). So I sat down and trawled through hip hop until my ears bled, my aim was to narrow the options down to 10 and guess what....I couldn't !In the end I decided to break it down further and categorize the hip hop music into place of origin im gonna attempt to compile 4 hip hop collections ,10 top hip hop albums from the West Coast , 10 top hip hop albums from the South ,East and one for the North and the rest of America .Iv took my time to scope through artist’s hip hop producers to bring you my top hip hop albums if you feel I've missed any feel free to comment and let me know..... PEACE!   Dr Dre - 2001 : In my opinion Dre’s best album and probably the best hip hop album of all time for me. The man had a massive part in putting Compton and the west coast on the map and 2001 is a celebration of that. in my eyes the best hip hop producer ever and definitely one of the top hip hop albums ever released. Snoop Dogg-Doggystyle: Snoop dogg the godfather of the mic exploded on the scene with this album. hip hop music was not the same after this album. With Dre on the production and snoopy lacing the flow there is no better combination... The Game-The Doccumentary: Compton rapper game’s first and in my opinion best album. it's the album before all the beef him and 50 had. Game really showed us what he was made of on this album and it set the stage for the rest of his career. Snoop Dogg - Last Meal: In my opinion Snoop Dogs best album by far .feels like he’s really comfortable and found his feet. the constant vibe that kokane brings to the hip hop music is also good snoop locking the flow and kokane harmonising in the background N.W.A -Straigh outta compton: At a time when east coast rap ruled and when Rappers were talking about being happy,N.W.A. came in and changed the rules of the game by bringing Gangsta-Rap to the mainstream.A blood-soaked masterpiece!Definately a top hip hop album. Cypress Hill-Cypress Hill: This is Cypress Hill's debut.It is filled with funky beats,great rhymes and B Real's excellent high killer flow!100hiphopsongs favourite!! Ice Cube-Amerikaz most wanted: Ice Cube was born to join and leave N.W.A..After all,he was the most talented emcee of the whole group.Not even "Straight Outta Compton" can prepare you for this hard-core,west-coast masterpiece! top hip hop albums arnt easy to come by but this is the real deal.   Eazy E- Eazy duz it: The Godfather of Gangsta Rap's debut album.Eazy-E might not of been one of the most talented emcees,but he is still a Legend.This is a semi-sequel to "Straight Outta Compton" and was made very quickly after it,due to the success of "Straight Outta Compton". 2pac-Me against the world: This is this legendary artist at his darkest.On this he is self-reflective,soul-bearing,honest,and introspective. this really is a top hip hop album from a top hip hop artist. R.I.P.! DR DRE-Chronic :Wow!It did so much for Rap.It introduced the world to G-Funk.It made the West Coast the most popular coast in rap.It also introduced the world to the Rap Legend Snoop Dogg. Katt Williams in trouble again ....

(100 hip hop songs) has received information that  Comedian Katt Williams continues to be mired in legal issues, after missing a court date in Sacramento.

The comedian was arrested late yesterday evening (January 8) in front of his Los Angeles home, after missing court earlier in the day.

Katt Williams was arrested for failing to show up to an arraignment for a three-wheeled chase, which occurred in November.

During November 25 incident, Katt Williams allegedly eluded pursuing police officers, who had observed the comedian driving the vehicle on the sidewalk.

He refused their commands to stop and police called off the pursuit, due to public safety concerns.

Katt Williams is being held on $100,500 bail.

On December 28, Katt Williams was on suspicion of felony child endangerment, after authorities allegedly found his children in the presence of drugs and guns.

Williams is currently free on $100,000 dollars bail for that incident.

Katt Williams addressed the guns and drugs during a video interview with TMZ.com.

“If the police come in and raid my place and break into my gun boxes, you’re gonna find guns! I’m not in a gang, what difference does it make?”

Katt Williams admitted to having marijuana, but claimed that “weed is not a drug.”
